CORPO E TERRITÓRIO: DO DELTA DO ORINOCO AO CENTRO DE TERESINA (PI) – UMA MOBILIDADE TRANSACIONAL DOS INDÍGENAS VENEZUELANOS WARAO BODY AND TERRITORY: FROM THE ORINOCO DELTA TO THE CENTER OF TERESINA (PI) – A TRANSACTIONAL MOBILITY OF THE VENEZUELAN WARAO INDIGENOUS PEOPLE

Abstract

RESUMO: Este artigo aborda a inter-relação entre corpo e território na perspectiva da mobilidade da etnia indígena Warao oriunda da Venezuela até sua chegada a Teresina-PI; tendo a pretensão de contribuir com a discussão a respeito do corpo como uma categoria de prática social e territorial a partir da análise de deslocamento da referida etnia. Com uma ótica direcionada para a análise entre o sentido do corpo como elemento-gênero e como território político-social representativo. Face a isso, a noção de corpo será abordada em várias esferas, como gênero e como território em movimento. A apropriação dessas significações estabelece sentidos à narrativa teoricamente ancorada. ABSTRACT: This article addresses the interrelationship between body and territory from the perspective of the mobility of the Warao indigenous ethnic group from Venezuela until their arrival in Teresina-PI; with the intention of contributing to the discussion about the body as a category of social and territorial practice based on the analysis of the displacement of this ethnicity. With a perspective directed to the analysis between the sense of the body as a gender-element and as a representative political-social territory. In view of this, the notion of the body will be approached in various spheres, as a genre and as a territory in movement.
