ABSTRACT: The work aims to discuss the fundamental characteristics of the Individual Microentrepreneur (MEI) in the municipalities of Riacho da Cruz/RN, Taboleiro Grande/RN, Portalegre/RN and Viçosa/RN. The following methodological procedures were adopted: bibliographical research, data collection on public agency websites and field research. The main results show that those opting for the MEI had, on average, completed high school or more; the age group from 24 years to 45 years was the one with the highest concentration; relationship with suppliers improved after formalization; sales increased after joining the MEI, except in Taboleiro Grande/RN; the residence itself was pointed out, predominantly, as the place where the businesses operate; most of those surveyed did not access lines of financing and/or loans. It is concluded that, in the surveyed municipalities, the main economic characteristics of those opting for the MEI were: predominance of males; mostly married; family heads; with average schooling of high school or more years of study; with a higher percentage working in commerce; most use the home to run the business; higher percentages indicated improvements in sales and relationship with suppliers after formalization and; the main motivations for formalizing were having social security rights and improving the business. Keywords: Individual Microentrepreneur; Description; High West Potiguar (BRAZIL).
Gabriel Pedro da Silva, Boanerges de Freitas Barreto Filho Copyright (c) 2023 Academic Journal of Studies in Society, Sciences and Technologies – Geplat Papers https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/138 Tue, 24 Oct 2023 00:00:00 -0300 A JUDICIALIZAÇÃO POLÍTICA COMO AMEAÇA A INDEPENDÊNCIA E HARMONIA ENTRE OS PODERES: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O ATUAL PROTAGONISMO DO SUPREMO TRIBUNAL FEDERAL (STF) NA POLÍTICA BRASILEIRA https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/137
Ativismo Judicial. Ameaça à Democracia.

ABSTRACT: In recent years, there has been a strong role of the judiciary, more specifically the STF, in Brazilian institutional life, a situation in which the power of the sovereign people, exercised by their representatives, is transferred to judges who, when deciding political issues more politically than juridically, they practice what is called judicial activism. Thus, given the current centrality of the Supreme Court in decision-making on national political issues, the question that guides this research arises: To what extent can the judicialization of politics in Brazil, by the STF, threaten the Brazilian legal system and the Democratic State of Right? The present study aims to analyze the political action that the STF has performed, in recent times, within the relationship between Politics and Law. To achieve the objectives, bibliographic and documental research techniques were used, based on a qualitative approach, covering the research with an exploratory nature. Thus, this article is structured as follows: the first section addresses the principle of separation of powers. Then, the conceptual differences between judicial activism and the judicialization of politics will be exposed. Finally, the current role of the STF in Brazilian politics will be analyzed. In fact, it is clear that, when we talk about the judicialization of politics as a threat to democracy, it means that the undeniable judicial protagonism in the Rule of Law gives way to the supremacy of Law, and not of politics. Therefore, it is understood that it is the politicization of the judiciary that threatens democracy and trivializes the principle of Separation of Powers. Keywords: Judicialization of Politics.

ABSTRACT: This article discussed the identity constitution of the black capoeirista in the current urban context of the city of Teresina – PI. Part of an anthropological research still in progress, these brief ethnographic notes and anthropological reflections managed to relate complex aspects of the urban self, - marked by memories, political-identity and religious issues, - of black people practicing Capoeira Angola, Capoeira Regional and Capoeiragem in the current urban context of Teresina-PI. Keywords: black capoeirista, urban context of Teresina, self, ethnic-racial identity, brazilian blackness.
Edilson Pereira do Nascimento, Carmen Lúcia Silva Lima, Raoni Borges Barbosa Copyright (c) 2023 Academic Journal of Studies in Society, Sciences and Technologies – Geplat Papers https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/116 Fri, 14 Apr 2023 00:00:00 -0300 ENTRE O SISTEMA PRISIONAL E A CIRCULAÇÃO NO ESPAÇO URBANO: VIVÊNCIAS DE UM FACCIONADO PRIVADO DE LIBERDADE https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/131
Palavras-chave: Teresina-PI, bairro Mocambinho, Penitenciária Professor José Ribamar Leite, segregação urbana, faccionado no contexto urbano.

ABSTRACT: The analytical object of this research was inspired by the constant manifestations of faction activities in the urban space, through graffiti, paintings and crimes committed by turf fights, which increases the levels of violence and directly impacts the quality of urban life. Factionally deprived persons organize their conduct of life connected to the routine of prisons and the laws of factions, which promote a dispute among themselves for space in the city. In this logic of dispute over territorial, material, human and symbolic resources, factionalized actors and social agents elaborate their own vocabulary of motives, their way of acting and thinking about living and living together in the urban space. The objective of this study is established with the intention of apprehending the social dynamics of these marginalized populations and considered violent, as well as their links with the city and among themselves as a collectivity inside and outside the prisons. From these perceptions, we will try to relate and describe the experience of being a member of a faction with lifestyles and strategies of use and abuse of urban space. Keywords: Teresina-PI, Mocambinho neighborhood, Professor José Ribamar Leite Penitentiary, urban segregation, factioned in the urban context.
Renata Bandeira, Carmen Lúcia Silva Lima, Raoni Borges Barbosa Copyright (c) 2023 Academic Journal of Studies in Society, Sciences and Technologies – Geplat Papers https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/131 Sun, 30 Jul 2023 00:00:00 -0300 OS TABAJARA EM PIRIPIRI: EMERGÊNCIA ÉTNICA INDÍGENA ATRAVÉS DO DIÁLOGO ENTRE ANTROPOLOGIA E HISTÓRIA https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/129

ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is to discuss the measures implemented by the Brazilian State, with emphasis on the interventions carried out in the Microregion of Pau dos Ferros, comparing them with data from the Agricultural Sector and the strategies adopted to combat and cope with the drought. To carry out the research, data were collected from the IBGE databases and field research was carried out. It was found: 1) the loss of demographic and economic representation of rural areas in the structural composition of municipalities in the Microregion; 2) measures to combat drought contributed to mitigating the problems of water scarcity, but did not solve the problem; 3) palliative (and expensive) solutions, such as the construction of the Quick Coupling Pipeline to partially meet the demand for water in Pau dos Ferros/RN, argues against the idea that planning is well carried out; 4) other examples of precarious planning were the drilling of wells without carrying out technical studies and the lack of control by the Public Power over the drilling carried out by citizens and companies. Keywords: Dry; Agricultural Sector; State interventions; Microregion of Pau dos Ferros.

ABSTRACT: This article aims to analyze if and how the implementation of Laws 10,639/2003 and 11,645/2008 is being based on the scientific productions of the last ten years. The focus of analysis is the productions that deal with educational practices carried out within schools and universities geographically located in the state of Piauí, which show how these laws have been implemented in this state. As a methodological strategy for data collection, we conducted a bibliographic survey in books and digital journals, which was added to the reflections and dialogues held at the meetings of the GPADIE (Group of Studies and Research Anthropology, Diversity, Interculturality and Education), and to the field experiences within the Pedagogical Residency Program. The data collected showed that there is a gap in research and scientific production that portray the implementation of an education for ethnic-racial and anti-racist relations in high schools. This absence contributes to the maintenance of an increasingly exclusionary and whitened education system, but also drives to broaden and strengthen the debate on racial literacy and the insertion of dialogues on raciality and epistemicide within the classroom and other academic environments. Keywords: Racial literacy; epistemicide; Law 10.639/03; 11.645/08.
Raimundo Nonato Ferreira do Nascimento, Dannyres Chrystine Silva Araújo, João Antônio de Sousa e Silva Copyright (c) 2023 Academic Journal of Studies in Society, Sciences and Technologies – Geplat Papers https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/130 Sun, 30 Jul 2023 00:00:00 -0300 OS SERVIÇOS DE TRANSPORTE POR APLICATIVO NA CIDADE DE PARNAÍBA (PIAUÍ) E A ANÁLISE DAS RECLAMAÇÕES ONLINE PRESENTES NA PLATAFORMA GOOGLE PLAY STORE https://geplat.com/papers/index.php/home/article/view/133
