Abstract

RESUMO: A ideia principal do ensaio é desenvolver uma linha crítica sobre a noção de desenvolvimento e progresso, trazendo exemplos dentro do Estado do Piauí. Nesse sentido, informações de notícias retiradas dos meios de comunicação de procedência serão analisadas. Os objetivos nas escolhas dos autores foi pensando em refletir teoricamente os impactos da colonização e as possíveis formas de pensar o futuro. A presente discussão destaca que formas de desenvolvimento em curso, sem escuta participativa das diversas populações, é também colonizar. ABSTRACT: The main idea of ​​the essay is to develop a critical line on the notion of development and progress, bringing examples from the state of Piauí. In this sense, news information taken from the media of origin will be analyzed. The authors' choices were aimed at reflecting theoretically on the impacts of colonization and possible ways of thinking about the future. The present discussion highlights that current forms of development, without the participatory listening of the diverse populations, also constitute colonization.
