Abstract

The periphery space of the regional system and its development vector have changed due to the bipolar world destruction. The importance of regional centers has grown. Regional centers interact with each other in contact zones passing from equilibrium to nonequilibrium condition. The state of peripheral contact zones and the processes occurring in them are a consequence of both their internal situation and external influence.
