UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE A DEMOCRACIA PARLAMENTAR E A ABERTURA RELIGIOSA PRESENTE NA 21ª SESSÃO DA CÂMARA MUNICIPAL DE CODÓ A REFLECTION ON PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY AND RELIGIOUS OPENNESS PRESENT AT THE 21ST SESSION OF THE CODÓ CITY COUNCIL

Abstract

RESUMO: O cenário político brasileiro vem sofrendo grandes mudanças nas últimas décadas. As manifestações ocorridas em 2013, como o protesto contra o aumento das passagens de ônibus em São Paulo, geraram situações que levaram ao enfraquecimento ou à deterioração das instituições democráticas e republicanas do país, de modo que houve uma erosão dos princípios democráticos e republicanos que fundamentam o sistema político do Brasil. Esse artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre o simbolismo religioso e seu rito na política parlamentar da Câmara Municipal de Codó – MA no momento da abertura da 21ª sessão, realizada no dia 11 de julho de 2023. Para isso, será analisado o momento de oração realizado por um dos vereadores da Câmara municipal de Codó e o impacto da reflexão religiosa feita nesse rito. ABSTRACT: The Brazilian political scenario has undergone great changes in the last decades. The demonstrations that took place in 2013, such as the protest against the increase in bus fares in São Paulo, generated situations that led to the weakening or deterioration of the country's democratic and republican institutions, so there was an erosion of the democratic and republican principles that underpin Brazil's political system. This article aims to reflect on religious symbolism and its rite in the parliamentary politics of the City Council of Codó – MA at the time of the opening of the 21st session, held on July 11, 2023. For this, the moment of prayer carried out by one of the councilors of the City Council of Codó and the impact of the religious reflection made in this rite will be analyzed.
