The Research Group Leisure, Tourism and Work (Grupo de Pesquisas em Lazer, Turismo e Trabalho GEPLAT) intends to expand its activities beyond the tourism studies in order to diversify its academic reflections, to broaden its network of researchers and also to internationalize its publications and partnerships. Through the “Academic Journal of Studies in Society, Sciences and Technologies” (GEPLAT PAPERS, ISSN 2675-4967) the Group now opens its own journal of scientific dissemination.

It is a special publication that deals with current and diverse topics, extending beyond the frontiers of the humanities. It aims to establish a dialogue with other areas of knowledge and to construct an interlocution with researchers from different countries, as well as functioning as informative support for other publications.

The journal has a quarterly periodicity, publishing three issues per year.
